This year our annual concert series ‘MayFest’ will be themed around the “Best of British” to mark the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee. It runs from 14th to 27th May (see nottinghillmayfest.org.uk for the full line-up) and we will be having the following special lunchtime recitals at St John’s and St Peter’s Churches - featuring our favourite and most entertaining artists of the last twelve months:
14th May at St Peter’s: International Piano magazine 'rising star' Simon Watterton (piano) and multi award winning Anna Cashell (violin) play Sir Edward Elgar's magical and melancholic Violin Sonata in E Minor Opus 82 and other violin piano duets.

Their fourth appearance at Mayfest, this local 17 piece string orchestra play Elgar: Serenade for Strings Op 20; John Ireland: Concertino Pastorale; Vivaldi: ‘Summer’ from the Four Seasons Op 8; William Walton: Henry V incidental
